Akin Oke is a Nigerian jazz guitarist who has performed with international jazz greats including Hugh Masekela and Manu Dibango. He leads the Akin Oke Quartet and has released several instrumental jazz albums. Akin is also a respected music educator, teaching at the MUSON School of Music. His guitar playing blends West African rhythms with bebop, modal jazz, and fusion.
